Ethnicity

Hi guys

Hope you all are doing well. With so many festivals going on and soon to come, I decided to do an ethnic post on the blog today. Also I recently realized that I haven’t done a lot of ethnic posts and I really needed to do more.

Although I don’t wear ethnic a lot, but I absolutely love it. I do often wear indo-western outfits so I decided to share one of those today!

This outfit is basically for people who don’t own a lot of ethnic outfits but wish to wear one soon. I have included the very basic clothing from my wardrobe for this look and I am definite that everybody already has all of these things in their closet.

As I always say, INVEST IN BASICS. If you have basics in your wardrobe then you can create so many different fun looks with them. A basic white tee is a better investment than a fancy white dress.

So for this look, I wore a black baggy tank top and paired it with black trousers. The black trousers that I am wearing were a part of an ethnic outfit that I wore to some wedding. But I think any black trousers will work equally well. And then I took a bright yellow dupatta from my mom’s closet and added some junk jewelry to complete the look. 🙂

This is how this outfit looks. To add some color to this outfit, I wore my floral flats from Qasics. Now, to be honest, these flats are ‘not me’ in any way. I don’t think I would wear them on regular days. But I was so happy with how great these looked with this outfit.

And I have always loved colorful outfits. The colors in the flats compliment the outfit so well. I don’t know why, but I feel like they will go really well with ethnic or boho looks.
Or you can pair them with an all black outfit. These flats will add color to an all black outfit really well.

Everything from this look is already available in your wardrobe. The only thing which might not be are a pair of flats like these. Make sure to head over to Qasics to get your hands on these! 🙂
