Black and white

Black and white. Oh and wait, a little bit or maroon too!

I have been trying to be a bit experimental these days. I do not want to create mainstream looks that I used to do when I first started my blog. Sometimes it goes wrong and sometimes it works out just fine. And what’s in it if you don’t take risks, right?

So I received this white shirt dress from Indian gully two weeks ago. You might already be familiar with the brand because I have worked with them a lot of times.

It looks like one of those dresses that people wear at fashion weeks with white Adidas and look super cool. Initially that’s what I was planning to do but then I changed my mind.

Before I start writing about how I styled this look and how much I love it, can we just take a moment and appreciate the location? I found this very cool hut in the middle of no where and felt like this was the perfect place to shoot.

I layered this dress with a black and white plaid shrug. It is actually a dress but I usually use it for layering. I hardly ever wear it like a dress.
The buttons do close to all the way up but I left them open to give this look a little bit of edge.

The shirt dress has side as well as a front slit. And the material is so comfy! It is thick enough to not make the dress transparent and thin enough to make it summer appropriate.

I wore maroon heel with it because POP OF COLOUR! I am all about colour and I had to wear a different colour than black or white.
