Denim affair

Hi guys

I hope you all are doing well and the monsoon is treating you good. I hope you have been able to keep up with your style during the rains.

Today’s post is all about denims in collaboration with Rawg and MV. I think denim is definitely something we wear throughout the year and it has no season. And it is everybody’s go to look, isn’t it? I mean who wouldn’t throw on a pair of shorts on a lazy day out. Shorts are the most comfortable pair of clothing you can put on when you don’t want to put in too much effort into dressing up and at the same time, they are also something that make some of the most fancy outfits ever!

Rawg and MV is a Gurgaon based exclusive denim brand which was set up earlier this year.

They specialise in denims and keep their customer satisfaction as their first priority. They put in extra efforts to make their denims comfortable and of perfect fitting. And I can tell from my personal experience, they do their job pretty well.

They have shorts, capris, etc on their website as of now, but soon they will be launching jeans and dungarees as well.

I personally love dungarees but they I can never really find a pair that fits me well but I am very hopeful (and almost certain) that I will find it on their website.

Denims make or break a look.
I received a pair of denim shorts from Rawg and MV a couple of weeks ago but before I get into the outfit details and how I styled it, I just wanted to quickly list a couple of things.

I have a lot of denims in my wardrobe but only some of them are as soft as the material used in these shorts. Not only is the material soft, but they fit really well. I am very happy with how well the shorts fit my body. And another thing that I was very happy about was the customer feedback. The brand personally asked me (before I even planned writing the post), about the quality and fitting and if I had any suggestions to give.

Also the package was very well packed. The product was in a plastic bag with a rope tied around it. When I opened the package, it looked so edgy and impressive. And they also had a thank you card. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a thank you card or any other sort of a note in their parcel, right?

Coming back to the look that I created, since the denim was dark blue, I wanted to keep the upper wear lighter and at the same time create an outfit that is fun and not very regular. I have been loving playing around with colours recently and that’s exactly what I did.

I paired the shorts with a pastel green tank top and layered it with a pastel pink denim jacket. I think the outfit is very edgy and definitely stands out. Since the shorts are dark blue, they stand out the most in the entire outfit and that’s what I like about it.

This look is very versatile and can be worn on almost any occasion. It’s very casual but at the same time its very different also and I think that’s one of the reasons why I can see myself wearing it at an event or a launch party with a pair of heels.
